Took a drive up with the 4yo. Did the illinois river tour. Started at Ottawa, then SR, then Lasalle, then Olgesby and stopped at Hennipin. Lots of sheepshead to be had. Also, if anyone want a list of playgrounds on the tour, including a Burger King playland, drop a line. We hit em all!

Damn wall was thick with feesherman. Everyone catching sheephead, with a few whites thrown in. One guy had a very fat 3+ pound sauger. Still full of eggs, so spawn no done yet???

We nailed a few sheepheads our selves. No boat, just shore feeshing. Great day to be out.
