The Park district ponds by my house are stocked, but with mostly rainbow trout and bass. But, many people fish at these ponds so after a couple of months there is no fish left. The pond has been cleaned out completly.. I think that at these park district ponds they should inforce stricter rules on the amount of fish people can take or just band taking fish all togther.. I like catching catfish, but they don't stock them in the pond. And they are also cleaned out.. Every time i go to this pond you see catfish on the shore line that have been rottting there, because after people catch these catfish they either keep them or put them on the ground to rott. I think the park district should inforce this something against this because it always smells and this can create diseases.... To the pond water, fish and the overal enviroment. So i mostly fish, by my house were i can catch lots of fish

| I agree they should be more stricter and enforce the rules and regulations of fishing. |

I agree as well, but to have enforcement officers around to see to it that all the rules are followed would be too cost prhibitive. Catch - n - Release is the best way to go since it keeps the "Bucket Brigade" out of the park.
There is a catch - n - release park near my house in the Western Suburbs and there are just as many people fishing, but they don't have stringers, buckets or plastic bags.
